As professional as they come
Glynn has been a fountain of knowledge and his extreme attention to details goes far beyond what
anyone would expect. Even thru engaging conversations, Glynn would bring up points that we never
knew of, even without a question being asked. He really made it feel like we were all on the same page
and more importantly made us Feel like he was always one step ahead which showed us he was
researching and working non-stop even behind closed doors. For an easy transition into a brighter
future, Glynn is the hand you want guiding you thru the process.

Let me start by saying that I rarely write testimonials for anyone and certainly not companies in the financial business, but this review is long overdue. This is a review for Millenium Home Mortgage in New Jersey, and specifically, Mr. Glynn Skibinski, Sr. Loan Officer.

I am not new to the refinancing process, as I have done it in the past several times. But on the same token, I am no expert either. Recently, when looking to pay down some high debt, I planned to refinance with some cash out to do so. I took advantage of the Lending Tree pitch where they put your information out there and lenders try to earn your business.

As soon as I registered on Lending Tree, no less than 5 or 6 lenders called me minutes after the registration to try to earn my business. And everyone had fast talkers with guarantees about lowest rates and best terms with no closing costs. It is extremely easy to be overwhelmed and confused after chatting with the majority of these companies. I decided to go with a company that appeared to have competitive rates and lower closing costs.

Most of the companies (especially the larger banks) exhibited a job-shop, boiler-room mentality, and work in volume with no service. The whole concept that people are managing your hard-earned money and structuring loans like this in that environment is extremely disconcerting, which is why I am writing this. Others need to know that there are alternatives to the big-name mortgage companies.

I proceeded to get the documents in place and schedule the home appraisal with the chosen company, and about a week later, by some miracle, I received a call by Millenium Mortgage located in New Jersey. A man by the name of Glynn Skibinski called me saying that he promised he would not waste my time. Hesitantly, I agreed, but told him I was already engaged with another mortgage company.

Mr. Skibinski spoke to me with no far-stretched promises, but he offered that there were many different types of loan products out there that someone in my situation should investigate, and not just the conventional 30-year fixed loan that everyone was offering. No one else mentioned these types of loans to me…my guess is that they did not offer them. These products are different types of loans, like 5- and 10-year arms, with significantly lower rates.

Glynn, a Senior Loan Officer, spent the time to go over my currently chosen loan (which, by the way, I fortunately did not lock into as of yet), and an alternative loan (i.e., one of Millenium’s product offerings), and demonstrated the substantial savings that could be received by doing business with Millenium and one of these alternative loans. He literally spent a couple of hours with me on the phone, and educated me on all of the legal technical mortgage talk on these complicated contracts, made head-to-head comparisons, and literally earned my business. He answered all of my questions, and was very honest and a far cry from other fast talkers that I had spoken with.

Glynn contacted me frequently, and every step of the way, calling and emailing me many times during the day to make sure everything was up-to-date, right up until the closing, which greatly reduced any anxiety associated with the loan process, and moved the loan process forward to finally close in about 4 weeks. To me, this was the definition of great customer service (and I have been in sales all of my life).

Again, I rarely provide any endorsements or testimonials for anyone just because I am so busy (and maybe I tend to raise the bar too high), and as someone who has always dealt with large companies for their name recognition and ‘perceived clout’ that they hold, I have really changed my whole attitude on smaller, customer-driven operations like Millenium Home Mortgage, and specifically Glynn Skibinski. Glynn is the real deal, and I have him permanently in my Rolodex. I need to urge anyone who is looking to refinance their mortgage to at least reach out to Mr. Skibinski to at least get a second opinion. I can tell you how happy and relieved that I did.
